Where the Hell is Matt?

Okay, Someone suggested I date these posts so I will. It is Saturday night here in Pasadena — its been a busy and exciting week. It means a lot to me that so many of you have signed on and checked in. So, in gratitude, I want to share a short video clip from YouTube as a “thank you.” There is an old saying, (Irish, I think) “Never give a man a sword until you teach him to dance.” This video reminds me of what they mean by that. If you have seen it already, then you will know what I am trying to convey. If you have not, then just click this link
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlfKdbWwruY If the link doesn’t take you to the video, then copy the link and paste it into your browser. let me know what you think/feel about it.
As the video starts, click the “watch in high quality” button at the bottom right of the video frame and turn your speakers on –its fun. I share it today for two reasons, one, because I think it will make you smile. Two, because it reminds me of how contagious joy can be — and not to be afraid to be a bit goofy sometimes. Enjoy it. Pass it on. Warmest regards, Mark
Brought tears to my eyes. Didn’t even allow myself to ask, “Why the Hell….?”
What a fun video! Dancing is so universal and something that transcends verbal language. I’m inspired to dance with my fingers on the keyboard…Here goes:
*\\\***///* !!!-!!!-!!! ;\;\;\;\;\;\;\;\ ?^?^? YYY UYUYU -!-!- !!!
The Opening Ceremonies of the 2008 Summer Olympics featured magnificant dancers and choreography. I was entranced by the beauty of it. Whether it’s a simple jig or a masterpiece, the joy is contagious!!! I’m interested in knowing how many others were touched by the Opening Ceremonies. Carmen Petersen
Wonderful. I had been pointed to this one before, and it’s so simple that it’s stunning. The best answers are the simple ones because the questions don’t matter…the answers are universal in truth and mean something precisely because they require no context. Nick
Wonderful way to start my day. thanks!
Funny how synchronicity strikes yet again! (It’s contagious, too, like joy.) I found Matt’s website very recently while looking at the website of Elizabeth Gilbert, author of “Eat, Pray, Love,” in the FAQ section. And now here it is again in the artist’s way at work blog. Mark, perhaps you could share with us how you happened to “discover” Matt! Yes, what a happy, pick-me-up video this is.
Loved it!
Needed that today.
